We Have Made Moving Scouts Between Patrols and Dens Easier
Moving One or More Scouts to a New Den/Patrol via the Roster Page
Below the Den/Patrol roster, Unit and Den/Patrol admins will see a new button labeled Reassign Scout(s). Clicking this button will display a list of Scouts in the unit.
Select those Scouts you want to move to THIS den/patrol, click then click the Invite button at the bottom of the screen.
The Scout(s) position in the previous Den/Patrol (including no Den/Patrol) will be ended and a new position started with the end and start dates set to the current date.
Any leadership position(s) in the old den/patrol will be ended (unit positions will continue).
No e-mails will be sent.
Moving One Scout to a New Den/Patrol via the Membership Page
There is a new Reassign Scout button on the Scout's Membership page. When you click this button, a pop-up menu will display a list of Dens/Patrols (including No Den/Patrol) in the unit.
Select the new Den/Patrol and click OK.
The Scout's current position will be ended and a new position started with the end and start dates set to the current date.
Any leadership position(s) in the old Den/Patrol will be ended (unit positions will continue.)
If the person moving the Scout is not a Unit admin, an e-mail will be sent to all Unit and Den/Patrol admins notifying them of the change.
Both methods of moving Scouts will work even if the unit has filled its subscription. This fixes an issue where moving Scouts to a new Den/Patrol would fail unless the unit had 1 or more remaining Scoutbook seats.

A REPORT FOR BOARDS OF REVIEW
Looking for a Board of Review Report in Scoutbook? Use the Boy Scout History Report.
The Boy Scout History Report is a report that can be used for multiple purposes. One is as a detailed summary of a Scout's advancement to utilize at a Board of Review.
The Boy Scout History Report is also a good summary report to use when preparing a Scout's Eagle Scout application.
The Boy Scout History Report can be found on an individual's Scout's page under Reports.
SCOUTBOOK TRAIL GUIDE FOR PARENTS
One of the hardest things about starting any new application is getting people to use it. In addition, there is a LOT thrown at a new parent when they first join Scouts. There’s a lot to take in over a very short period.
We want to help a little along that path with a Parent’s trail guide. It’s a three-page document you can hand out, or share with your scout parents to help them understand some of the basic things they need to know and do.
This is not meant to give them everything – for example, the basics around advancement are explained but not gone into in depth. We also didn’t go into the depth of RSVP or Permission slips on the calendar. This covers the basic things to get most parents started using the tool.

I suspect you wanted to post to your unit forum.
I suggest asking in the Using Scoutbook forum where their are volunteers who are specialists in answering user questions. You can also search for previous answers.
Membership must be transferred by the council registrar first. Scoutbook does not have a membership sync. See the "Advancement Sync and New Scouts in your Unit" thread in that forum. For additional assistance.I suggest asking in the Using Scoutbook forum where their are volunteers who are specialists in answering user questions and where links to answers can be included. Payment Log is designed to allow a unit to track payments and charges for Scouts.
You can make one via Report Builder, and tailor it to your needs, see

Report Builder Printing and File Output
A new Printer Friendly & CSV Report button has been added to the Report Builder results screen. This button, at the bottom of the screen, will open a new tab where the Report Builder Results are formatted for better printing, PDF generation and CSV export.
The new format splits the report into sections with fewer Scouts in each section to allow for direct printing from the web browser. It also contains buttons to generate PDFs in either portrait or landscape mode and to export a CSV containing the report data.
Youth can now access their own reports
We have made it so a youth account Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Venturing can access History Reports and Payment Log Report they are accessed from their Scoutbook accounts.
Moving Scout from sync to non-sync unit fixed.
An issue that prevents Scouts from being moved into a unit that is not activated for advancement sync has been fixed. This issue affected all Scouts, even those that had never been activated for advancement sync into units that did not use Scoutbook. With this fix, Scouts can now be moved into any unit. This fix applies to unit subscriptions, free accounts and family subscriptions.
Some Bread Crumbs Cleaned Up
An issue affecting the "bread crumb" navigation at the top of the page in Scoutbook has been fixed. When Scoutbook was on a Cub Scout adventure page, clicking on the Cub Scout rank breadcrumb would return the user to the dashboard.
The user will now be properly returned to the desired rank page.
Unit Sync Activation
As we migrate Scoutbook to the BSA’s advancement database of record, all Scouts with a current member ID and are in an active unit subscription, will need to be in the advancement sync.
If your unit does not activate the sync, once your current unit subscription expires you will not be able to renew until the sync steps have been completed. Until then, you will be able to complete but not approve advancements for Scouts without a current BSA membership ID.
In the near future, advancements for Scouts with valid member IDs in Scoutbook and who are not in the sync will be brought over from ScoutNET.
In addition, on June 1, 2018, any trial subscriptions that have not had any activity within the last 30 days will be closed and advancement data associated will be cleared out. If you wish to extend your trial, please contact Scoutbook.support@scouting.org.
If you would like your unit activated for the sync, and are having difficulties activating, please send an email to: Scoutbook.support@scouting.org If a unit Key 3 member sends the email and requests the unit be activated for the sync, Member Care will turn the youth advancement sync on for that unit. Any Scouts with valid member id’s will be activated and included in the sync.
