Transferring Between Dens / Patrols or Units with Our New Membership Feature
A new feature has been added to Scoutbook that allows units to manage Boy Scouts who are also registered in Crews and Ships. The new Membership page is where you go to change the den or patrol assignments of your Scouts, move Scouts from your unit, or bring Scouts into your unit. The new link appears on the Scout account page. This link can be used to transfer Scouts to a new unit, den or patrol. In addition, this section is where you would define multiple unit registrations. For more information, see our user guide: Managing Memberships - Adding-Removing and Moving Scouts Between Units-Dens-Patrols
Advancement Sync
The Scoutbook Advancement Record Sync with ScoutNet rollout is currently in final verification with the Scoutbook User Advisory group. We appreciate your patience and will notify units as we roll out to the Pilot units. Until your unit is in the sync, continue to download the ScoutNet file from your PO and upload it to Internet Advancement to record your unit’s advancement with your council.
New Reports Released
Two new reports are now available for units to access their Scout’s history in Scoutbook: The Boy Scout and Cub Scout History Reports are located on the Scouts’ personal page under reports. Make sure [*.]scouting.org is allowed in your browser’s 3rd party cookie settings.
Also, the Boy Scout Individual Advancement Report (IAR) will now display all Merit Badges completed or started and the maximum number of Eagle Palms. Completed and partial Merit Badges are shown via the Eagle Rank and Eagle Palm entries. The IAR will display any Eagle Palms that could be earned based on the number of Merit Badges earned or started. A QR code is included at the bottom of each page that will take the user to the Scout's advancement page.
Leader Training
The Leader Training page has been updated and now supports the online training at the new BSA Learn system.
LDS Boy Scout Tracking
Scoutbook now supports the change implanted in Internet Advancement where a ward’s Team and Crew young men have been moved to the Troop. When you create an Internet Advancement .CSV file from the Scoutbook PO you will now see all the young men in one file.
