2016 Boy Scout Requirements Released in Scoutbook

When will you get the Venturing module up and running ?

Outstanding getting this done so fast. With this major update getting live so quickly what are the team's plans on addressing hiccups or putting in the current award requirements (NOVA, Outdoor activity, etc) so they match the adventure program with the cub scouts. Of primary concern for Webelos leaders is the ability to correctly track the arrow of light rank. Currently the arrow of light rank uses the same adventure electives as was used to earn the Webelos rank making it appear a scout is further along that he really is.

From a troop treasurer perspective, would love to see ...

(a) the payment module expanded out to the parents (since they also go on camping trips, etc.)

(b) a troop report that will report the current balances of each scout (and eventually/hopefully parent) balance, right now you have to click on each and every scout to verify balances.

(c) the ability to create an event for multiple days. I know creating a continuing scheduled event can be hairy, but possibly a simpler way would be to create an event, and then be able to indicate multiple days for that event, so in the database it would just create separate database entries for each. Then if you wanted to alter/delete a specific one, that entry would just be treated as normal single event. This would help create multiple troop meetings, COH, etc. to speed up that process for events that are identical.

FANTASTIC! A GREAT JOB FOR ALL SCOUTS...

I agree with Joe Vogel for Treasurer features. It would be great to set up a "quick invoice" and assign it to the Scouts it pertains to. Payments could be tracked individually. It is very time consuming to create a new invoice for each Scout. Then, create another log for payment of said invoice. I'm sure there is a way to make this more efficient.

I am a new Scout Master for our troop. My son has only been in Boy Scout for about 1 or so. This is all new to me. I'm trying to pour through all the material the old Scout Master dropped off. Can someone direct me where to find how many service hours each rank needs? Thank you in advance.

Will the scoutbook automatically switch the boys to their new rank for the 2016-2017 season? I see my pack still in their old dens. Example; The Bear den is done with being bears and are now on to being Webelo's. Will the site switch theur den label from Bear to Webelo's?

How are we supposed to switch boy scouts with pre-2016 partials in ranks to the now mandatory 2016 requirements? When I click on 2016 requirements it is blank and everything they have completed that would still apply is blank.
