Celebrating Our 1 Year Anniversary!

One year ago today we launched our pack and troop subscription plans! We wouldn't be where we are today without you. Thank you for putting your trust in us and allowing us to serve you and your Scouts.

We are grateful so many leaders and units have made the decision to switch to Scoutbook. We hope you are enjoying all the new features that have been launched during the year. Many see Scoutbook as a revolutionary web app that is bringing together Scouts, parents and leaders like never before. We feel mobile technology will play a major role in the lives of our youth moving forward and it is our goal to keep innovating and building tools to make the Scouting experience easy and fun for everyone.

We're Just Getting Started

Scoutbook is constantly evolving at a rapid pace. Our focus during our second year will be all about the Scouts and giving them creative and exciting tools to fulfill their positions of leadership. From Denners all the way to Assistant Scoutmasters, there will be a tool for almost every position. Patrol websites will be controlled by Webmasters. Historians will have access to our new Slideshow Builder tool. Librarians and Quartermasters will be able to take photos and track inventory and gear. And yes, youth leaders will be able to approve requirements under the direction of the unit leader.

We will expand our unit tools and reporting so districts and councils will be able to see at a glance how all their units are performing.

We have introduced our Calendar and Events module with JTE integration and plan to finish it up with photo galleries and slideshows.

We are wrapping up our testing for our new Varsity and Venturing subscription plans to. LDS wards will be able to seamlessly transition their older Scouts to these new subscriptions when they are released.

We will also get to many of your requests you have made to our New Feature Requests forum board.

I knew our pack started on the "ground floor" but did not realize how low on the ground we were!!
Just six weeks after launch.

I am extremely pleased with the service and the detail that is put into it. How far "we" have come in the last year! I look forward to the next year!

Hi Deb. If you renew your subscription it will simply add one year to your expiration date. So if your subscription expires in March 2015 it will add 12 months to that date making your new expiration date March 2016.

Wow.. I knew it was a new application but I didn't realize just how new. I guess we came into it when it was only 3 months old. I'm in love! I can't say enough about the response team to problems and issues and the overall sense of openness to ideas from everyone who is willing to put themselves out there. I looked at many programs out there for tracking the scouting program but this one was very visual and very up to date in it's application. I thought it was the bomb as we were starting in BSA after an almost 20 year hiatus for me. I didn't realize at first that there still were many needs for Scoutbook to create but it's been a very well thought out process and the input from users has been wonderful. It's been an all around learning experience for me and i'm gotten more answer about BSA from the forums than I've gotten from BSA *grin*. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! You guys are great.
