If it's been a while since you have logged into Scoutbook, you will be please to know we have released over 100 new features and enhancements since the new year.
Complete BSA ScoutNET Integration
When new packs and troops sign up on Scoutbook they are offered a chance to import their entire roster and advancement directly from the BSA ScoutNET Internet Advancement system. You can be up and running with Scoutbook in no time at all with this new option.
Scoutbook also generates a ScoutNET file that units can upload into Internet Advancement. Scoutbook is the only software that syncs belt loops and special awards to ScoutNET Internet Advancement.
Scoutbook is the only software that also syncs all adult training with the BSA.

Track Over 50 Cub Scout and Boy Scout Awards
Here are just some of the new awards you can now track on Scoutbook. When your Scouts complete these awards they are automatically included in the ScoutNET export file and synced with the BSA!

Send Mass Emails Messaging Feature
Need to send a quick reminder to the parents? Are you a parent who wants to email a den leader? Do you have some important last minute information that you need to get out to every member of the pack or troop?
Our new messaging feature can handle all your messaging needs and more.
New Intuitive Top Bar Navigation

Getting around Scoutbook is now easier than ever with our new navigation. A breadcrumb now appears along the top showing you exactly where you are and allows quick access to go back to any previous page. A new Quick Nav feature is in the works which will display your top 10 most visited pages.
Manage Permissions with our Connections Manager
Now you can view and modify the permissions of your entire pack or troop with our new Connections Manager. Adults are listed down the left column and your Scouts along the top. Quickly see who has permissions to your Scout records with this new tool that is fully compatible with iPhones, iPads and other small devices.

Reporting Just Got Better
We've been working on our Report Builder and have added many new features to our Needs Approval and Needs Purchasing reports.
We have integrated these reports into every level of Scoutbook. Packs and Troops can see the total number of items that need to be approved. Each den, patrol and Scout page also have their own notification alerts so leaders can quickly see how many Scouts need their attention.
Get Ready for Events and Calendaring!
This April we are hoping to launch our Events and Calendaring module with full integration of Journey to Excellence.
RSVP, attendance, and quick entry are all features you can expect in our new Events feature. Plan your entire year in advance and let Scoutbook tell you how you will score on your Journey to Excellence. Modify your plans and see your estimated score go up!
Thank you!
We are excited about these new features and want to thank all of you who are supporting Scoutbook with an annual subscription! We couldn't do this without you.
Thanks!
It is wonderful to have everything in one location...
Thanks everyone for the kind words. We will be launching Events first followed by a calendar feature this month. Events toward the middle of the month. Thanks!
I would also love a feature to track attendance at den/pack meetings.
BSA ScoutNET Internet Advancement Export
Please see our Calendar / Events Thread for more information.
Thanks
We are creating a second wait list sign up with a cap in case someone drops as well. Would lo en to see both! Otherwise, we are active and loving it
Counselors should have approved each requirement and signed off on the merit badge well before the COH. We place everything that has been approved into a Needs Purchasing report and finally they will appear on a Needs Awarding report. If you use Scoutbook as it is intended there will never be a situation where someone is entering in merit badges for a COH at the last minute.
We continue to make improvements to the site. Your feedback is crucial to us. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks
